The North Korean leadership says Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's demands were "gangster-like" after a meeting concerning the recent claims that the kid dictator is rebuilding his nuclear arsenal. We'll speak to resident missile defense expert Riki Ellison about the meeting and find out if Pompeo went in, guns blazing or if the North Koreans are playing the victim card. Then, Trump gets ready to embark on a trip that will take him through Europe, culminating in a meeting with Putin The Powerful. We'll head into Europe where Trump will meet with the queen. The EU takes a giant step backward in immigration policy. In a complete 180, Angela Merkel and the rest of the European Union have decided to start dissuading the waves of migrants coming from Africa by setting up detention centers. Is this Merkel's last attempt to stay in power? Last week, the entire world said detaining migrants is bad, so why is it ok when the EU does it? We speak to Mark in Europe and find out what Europeans think of the new policy and if it'll be enough to save Merkel (She is the new leader of the free world after all). Then, we're heading South of the border, down Mexico way on election day. Career politician Andrés Manuel López Obrador is the front runner and he plans to clean up the corruption in the Mexican government and stand up to Donald Trump. We speak to Jorge in Mexico and find out if Obrador will bring real change or if it'll be business as usual. Finally, on Change Is Hard, a socialist wins her primary in New York and the media swoons. We knew this was going to happen but we didn't know how long it would take. We're also revisiting the old popular media proverb: They go low, we go high. At this point, who really believes that sentiment?

Jun 24, 2018

Today we're headed to the origin of the crisis at the border, Central America. We'll speak to our Honduran voice about the waves of people traveling north to the US border. Are they really seeking asylum or is that an excuse to move to America for work?
Then, we'll check in on Turkey where Erdogan is up for another election; and everything he has been pushing for in the past year comes down to this vote. Will he become the sultan? We speak to Oguz in Turkey and find out what he thinks the outcome will be.
Finally, it's a Change Is Hard for the ages. They're still doing it for the kids but are people waking up? We take an in-depth look at Maddow's meltdown and a CNN panel's logical reaction to Lewandowski's womp womp (or wah wah if you're not the press).

Jun 17, 2018

The Singapore summit happened, but what will come of the document both Trump and the kid dictator signed? We speak to our resident missile defense expert Riki Ellison and get his take on whether or not the agreement is a step in the right direction and what Trump's next actions should be. Then we're headed south of the border where the media and politicians are changing immigration policy for the kids. We speak to Jorge in Mexico and find out if US immigration policy is a deterrent for people trying to slip over the southern border. Finally, is Angela Merkel about to walk the plank? While US popular media is busy covering the southern border, the leader of Germany may be ousted due to Europe's current immigration policies. We speak to Mark in Europe about Merkel's uncertain future.

Jun 10, 2018

We'll speak to our resident missile defense expert Riki Ellison about the meeting and get specifics on how to US plans to guarantee Kim Jong Un's security. Then, Trump doubles down at the G7 calling out Trudeau again. This morning Trump's top economic advisor Larry Kudlow called Trudeau's comments following the summit a betrayal that was aimed at stabbing America in the back. Then, change is hard in Italy. The elections are over, and it's out with the old and in with the new. The entire government changed hands; This has never happened before in Italy. But the story doesn't stop there. The EU, still licking their wounds from Brexit, are worried that they could soon see Italy leave the union. We check in on global media and find out how they're covering this unprecedented story. Finally, this summer, prepare for the summit is Singapore. We talk to our resident missile defense expert Riki Ellison about the remaining concessions Trump wants from Kim before the early June summit. Then, we're headed into Europe where everyone's favorite public speaker Mark Zuckerberg appeared in front of the European Parliament. Will the new regulations have any effect on social media or is this more posturing to make everyone feel safe while their sharing everything with the tech giant? We speak to Mark in Europe and get his take on Zuckerberg's meeting with parliament. Finally, the Obamas get a reality show on Netflix. This time, the same people who claimed we can't take Donald Trump seriously because he was a reality star are gushing at the idea of seeing their favorite former first family in their own reality show. The hypocrisy is so deep and convoluted, not even The Rock can save us from Change is Hard.
