This week, Julian Assange gets arrested and removed from the Ecuadorian embassy in Britain. The founder of Wikileaks is now in a state of limbo as authorities deliberate extraditing him to the US where politicians are calling for his head. We speak to Mark in Europe about the arrest and discover how the European media is handling Assange's apprehension.
Finally, the UK has proposed sweeping legislation of the internet and social media. If companies like Google and Facebook refuse or are unable to police their platforms of "child exploitation, fake news, violence and terrorist activity" or risk fines or other penalties. We'll dive in deeper with a new voice in the UK and find out if this proposed law could actually work.
